Went to Germany on the USS General Randahl troop ship in October years ago and it was not as rough as most of the ones shown, ours was more like number 4, taking water on the front of the ship and going side to side. it wasn't like that the whole 8 days. Enjoyed it was never on the Ocean before, lots of exciting stuff went on, 18 months later, came home on the USNS Patch in August and it was just the opposite, fog the whole trip but calm.
