In this short video, I wanted to round up some historic Scania V8 Trucks/ Camion old school, or YoungTimers, that I've had the pleasure of seeing in recent years at gatherings. We are talking about three legendary models of the Swedish brand, the 143M, the 142H, and the 141, all powered by the magnificent V8 engine, the undisputed symbol of this brand. It should be noted that at the end of the 70s the 14.2-litre engine had 375hp, an enormous power for that period and in 1983, with the advent of the 142H and the new cabin designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro, a variant equipped with an intercooler was introduced able to reach 420hp. In that period it became the most powerful line vehicle produced in Europe. A tall pillar of the Swedish house was the 143M used from the late 1980s and early 1990s. In its maximum splendour the V8 engine that equipped it reached the power of 500hp combined with a 16-speed gearbox.
